We just got back from Florida, and I must say – my dear hubby, our daughter and I had a BLAST! We went there to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, taking her to the theme parks, just relaxing and having a great time. The most important thing was that she was happy – that’s all my husband and I ever want. So now that I’m back, I’m here to share my second bag feature, and it’s on another Longchamp – the package from Longchamp containing the bag to be featured was waiting for me when we got home from our vacation, and that inspired me to write about it.

Longchamp captured my heart fairly recently – for some years, I was one of those who did not get what the fuss was all about. I still haven’t bought a regular nylon Le Pliage bag for myself since none of those have made my heart skip a beat just yet (though I now totally understand why some people just adore their regular nylon LPs… just haven’t found one for me yet); I however have fallen in love with a few of their limited edition pieces and some other standard bags that aren’t the usual nylon Le Pliage. One of those bags is the Longchamp Le Pliage Artwalk bag.
The Artwalk collection is part of the Fall 2015 line and was released just a few weeks ago. I love the abstract take and geometric lines of the bag – the result is a visually pleasing design that gives off an art deco feel. The material is also thicker, silkier and softer than the usual Le Pliage nylon.

It comes in 4 colors (seen above from top to bottom, pictures taken from Longchamp.com) – Opera, Powder, Blackcurrant, and Cobalt. My personal favorite is Opera, which is why I bought one in medium with short handles. If I were to buy another one, it would probably be in Blackcurrant. The bag comes with either short or long handles – small and large sizes come with long handles, while only medium comes with short handles. You can also purchase a wristlet/clutch from the Artwalk collection. (Note: All the pictures of the Opera bag you will see here are of my personal bag except for the one above that came from Longchamp’s website (to be more precise – all pictures in this entire blog watermarked “PurseChronicles.com” are mine 🙂 So – ALL pictures you’ve seen throughout the blog are mine EXCEPT for the 4 above that are not watermarked, as they came from Longchamp’s site)).

The design is unique enough to stand out, while also being wearable enough to use often as the design is not too outlandish. I’d recommend this to those who appreciate interesting color combinations and geometric lines in the design of their handbags. It is also for those who appreciate and prefer lightweight bags (and who doesn’t appreciate a light bag? 🙂 ). The Artwalk collection is available for purchase through Longchamp’s website and also through other points of sale.

That’s it for now, everyone. Thanks for taking the time to read my blog post. Hope you enjoy reading the other posts on my blog as well, and may the remainder of the week be kind to all of us! 🙂
