Mica is in a band called “Utakan” wherein she plays synths and drum machines. Utakan is currently on hiatus. The band’s music is available on iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, Amazon Prime Music, Microsoft Groove Music, and Band Camp. The band was nominated in three categories (winning one of the three) at the 15th Annual Independent Music Awards held in New York in November 2016. Besides her family, work, and music, Mica is passionate about bags and after years of putting it off, she started her own blog about handbags.
Family, software development, music, and bags – words that might not seem to be the most obvious combination, but they mix well in Mica Syjuco’s world.
